This edition of Hall Magazine includes the
results from the 13
th
ABIMAD Trade Show.
Held in the Exhibition Hall of Imigrantes
Expo Center and with plenty of new
developments, it was a great success, both
in terms of business as in terms of meeting
the expectations of our retailer clients.
Changes in access, transportation,
conveniences and of course, the Nespresso
and Cupcake stations were a few of the
highlights. And how do we know? An
extensive survey conducted with over 1,300
visitors and 150 exhibitors gave us valuable
information that showed us our satisfaction
rate is over 90%.
But improvements are always necessary,
and the survey also serves that end. There
is no end to the pursuit of excellence. That
is how we understand the necessity to lend
continuity to our work.
Speaking of continuity, we are already
preparing for the 14
th
edition of ABIMAD
that is set to take place July 25-28 this year.
The new developments don’t end there:
we have the honor of, in this edition of
the magazine, beginning to work with
journalist Maria Ignez Correa da Costa
Barbosa, who will be writing a column
on decoration, furnishings, good taste
and style.
With a degree in journalism from PUC-RJ,
she has worked for Jornal do Brasil and O
Estado de São Paulo newspapers, among
others. With her husband, diplomat Rubens
Barbosa, she has been ambassadress in
London and Washington D.C. and over the
years has had the opportunity to live in a
variety of cities around the world.
A polyglot, she has published books like
Gentíssima, a collection of interviews; Casas
de São Paulo, published by Metalivros; and
Histórias de Estilo e Décor, her most recent
title. Welcome!

Nesta edição da nossa revista Hall trazemos
os resultados da 13ª Feira ABIMAD.
Realizada no Pavilhão dos Imigrantes, e com
muitas novidades, foi um sucesso tanto em
negócios como nas expectativas de nossos
clientes lojistas.
Mudanças no acesso, transporte, facilidades
e, claro, os espaços com Nespresso e
Cupcake foram destaque. E como sabemos
disso? Uma ampla pesquisa feita com
mais de 1.300 visitantes e 150 expositores
nos trouxe informações valiosas que
nos mostraram um índice de satisfação
acima de 90%.
Mas melhorias sempre são necessárias, e
essa pesquisa também é para isso. A busca
da excelência é um objetivo sem fim. É como
entendemos que se deve dar a continuidade
de um trabalho.
Por falar em continuidade, já estamos
preparando a 14ª edição da ABIMAD que
se realizará de 25 a 28 de julho desse ano.
As novidades não param por aí: temos a
honra de, nessa edição da revista, iniciar
um trabalho com a jornalista Maria Ignez
Correa da Costa Barbosa que assinará uma
coluna dedicada à decoração, mobiliário,
gosto e estilo.
Formada em Jornalismo pela PUC do Rio
de Janeiro, trabalhou, entre outros, no
Jornal do Brasil e no O Estado de São Paulo.
Junto com seu marido, o Diplomata Rubens
Barbosa, foi Embaixatriz em Londres e
Washington e, ao longo dos anos, tiveram
a oportunidade de morar em diversas
cidades mundo afora.
Poliglota, lançou livros como Gentíssima,
uma coletânea de entrevistas; Casas de São
Paulo, pela Metalivros e Histórias de Estilo
e Décor, o mais recente. Seja bem-vinda!
